In place of Drupel and Javascript may I suggest Wolfram Mathematica for modeling <span class="sam-tm">SAM</span> as it grows. I have used it in the past for math courses and it is fairly easier to learn. It is available at most universities but also for personal use at cost. It also comes on Rasp Pi devices for free as well as the Raspbian image that can be run in a virtual machine on most computers. It may allow for scripting of building models and testing against information from the PTE as well as speed and computer power. JS is rather limited but does nicely for simple webpage demos, although rendering can freeze browsers momentary. Very impressed with <span class="sam-tm">SAM</span> so far.
